I have just recently recieved the VERTU Signature Rose Gold Pink Sapphires and Pink Diamonds as a present. I know the orignial price is about $100,000, but I heard you can get it from other stores for about $5,000. I asked my friend for the amout they had payed and they said $5,000. Im not sure if they lied to him, or that was a bargain. How can I tell its fake ? Is there any small details that differ from the real and the replica ? It's not the safest bet, though, as the Concierge service is not available in most countries. You can also check the software version. If it's CECT - then it should be a replica.

I am interested in the VERTU Signature Rose Gold Pink Sapphires and Pink Diamonds [SD555 (M4)]. I don't expect the phone to be of the same quality as a authentic Vertu, but how well will the gold, sapphires, and diamonds hold up under occassional use. I don't expect my wife will be using the phone very often, but how well is the phone built. Is it as good as a normal Nokia or Samsung. I don't want the quality of the phone to give it away easily as a fake (it must be a fake, because the gold is rubbing off). Warranty? What is warranted on the phone and for how long?
